Practice aikido for body, soul and community
Aikido is a non-competitive Japanese budo art so anyone can participate. We perform the exercises in pairs in an interaction between the one who is going to attack and the one who performs the technique. The basics are to learn falls, movements and practice your coordination skills, motor skills and body and spatial awareness. We wish to conduct a training based on joy and respect for each other.
What is aikido?
Aikido is a combination of three Japanese characters; Ai which stands for harmony and cooperation, Ki which stands for power and energy while Do which stands for the path or rather the practice of the path. Aikido could thus be freely translated as "the path of harmonious power". The goal is neither for the attacker nor the defender to be injured or offended - but rather to create something together.
Who are we at Vanadis Aikido?

The nice room that the club has furnished is a total of 275 square meters and the dojo itself 155 square meters. The premises also have a kitchen and common room.
Children's training
Aikido is a non-competitive Japanese budo art so anyone can participate. We perform the exercises in pairs in an interaction between the one attacking and the one performing the technique. Fundamentally, the children and young people learn about falls, movements and practice their coordination skills, motor skills and body and spatial awareness. We wish to conduct a training based on joy and respect for each other.
